Day 1
Nairobi
Karibu Kenya!
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a Safari & Fjell representative. Thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and rejuvenate.
Depending on the time of your arrival you may desire to venture out to visit the nearby attractions or simply take it easy at your hotel.
Day 2 – 4
Tumaren Laikipia
Day 2 – Nyasura Camp
– Drive off North to the starting point of the walking safari at Nyasura Camp. Approx 266km / 6 Hour drive
– Energy permitting after settling at camp, you will scale the slopes of the tall ancient rocky outcrops of Nyasura whilst enjoying a true African sunset.
– Dinner and overnight
Day 3 – Nyarara Camp
– After an early breakfast & making the most of the cool temperatures you’ll start the day’s trek by 0700hrs.
– Approx 8/10km, 3/4hrs trek to the Nyarara Camp through acacia bush country filled with plains game and predators that like hunting them.
– Good chances of spotting a Lion, Leopard, Hyena or Wild dogs on this part of the walking safari.
– Explore the environs of the camp in the afternoon, partake in some rock climbing or simply relax and enjoy the tranquility of the African bush.
Thereafter, dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Fig Tree Camp
– Have an early breakfast and leave the camp at 0700hrs.
– Slightly longer 10/12km trek for approx 4/5hrs.
– Arrive at Fig Tree Camp along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River for a welcome rest and lunch.
– In the afternoon when the temperatures cool down, you can take a guided walk along the river banks. The river is hugely popular with elephant herds quenching their thirst or wallowing in its muddy stretches.
– As the sun sets on yet another adventure filled day you can sit around the bonfire and reflect on the many wonders who have experienced throughout the last couple of days.
Day 5
Nairobi
Bid farewell to your hosts at Fig Tree Camp and transfer back to Nairobi.
Check in to your Nairobi hotel late afternoon. Rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
Dinner at the famous Carnivore restaurant and overnight.
Day 6 -8
Diani Beach
The last leg of your adventure takes you to one of the Top 10 Beaches in Africa!
Time to rest, so how better than to relax and unwind in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
In the morning you will be transferred from your hotel to the Airport for a short 1 hour flight to Ukunda, Diani Beach.
Thereafter, the rest of the days are at your leisure.
Activities below can be arranged upon request.

Day 9
Nairobi
A day at your leisure to explore Nairobi’s attractions, with an early morning visit to The Giraffe Center in the leafy suburbs of Karen. Thereafter a chance to get up close ‘n’ personal with orphaned baby elephant calves and a chance to learn more about the David Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation.
In the afternoon your guide will take you the local Masai Market for some African souvenir shopping.
The rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 10
Nairobi (JKIA)
After having breakfast you will proceed to check out of your hotel.
Depending on your international flight departure you may have some time on your hands to explore a bit more of Nairobi or alternatively be transferred to the Airport well in time for your return flight back home.
