Day 1
Nairobi
Karibu Kenya!
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a Safari & Fjell representative. Thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and rejuvenate.
Depending on the time of your arrival you may desire to venture out and visit the nearby attractions.

Day 2 – 4
Mt. Kenya Nat. Park Sirimon Route
Day 2 Highlights:
Sirimon Gate 2,650m – Old Moses Camp 3,300m
– After breakfast check out of your hotel in Nairobi and head towards starting point at Sirimon Gate, Mt.Kenya Nat. Park.
– Meet your head mountain guide and support staff then shortly after begin the hike up to Old Moses Camp.
– 3/4hrs walk, 9km and 650m ascent. Packed lunch taken en route.
– Hike through the forest glade with chances of spotting wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes and primates before reaching high altitude Moorland at Old Moses Camp 3,300m.
– Dinner & overnight stay at Old Moses Camp.
Day 3 Highlights:
Old Moses Camp 3,300m – Shiptons Camp 4,200m
– Early breakfast and depart by 0700-0730, 7/8hrs hike, 14km – 900m ascent.
– Hike over Ontulili / Liki North Valleys & streams. Enjoy magnificent views on top of Mackinders Valley looking towards Shiptons Camp.
– Packed lunch taken in Makinders Valley en-route to Shiptons Camp.
– Overnight at Shiptons Camp 4200m nestled right under the spectacular towering peaks & glaciers of Mt. Kenya.
– Dinner and sleep early for the pre-dawn summit ascent!
Day 4 Highlights:
Shiptons 4,200m – Pt. Lenana 4,985m – Old Moses Camp – Ol Pejeta
– 0300hrs start the pre-dawn summit attempt.
– 12/13hrs walk, 18km – Ascent 785m & Descent 1,685m
– Summit Pt. Lenana and experience an amazing African sunrise.
– Descend to Shiptons Camp for breakfast & a short rest then descend further to Old Moses Camp, where your driver guide will be waiting to transfer you to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
– Check in late afternoon to your tented camp in Ol Pejeta for a much welcomed hot shower and well deserved rest.
– Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – 6
‘Big 5’ Safari at Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Your exclusive tented camp is perfectly situated in front of a waterhole, giving you amazing opportunities to observe various animals from rhinos to giraffes coming to quench their thirst.
The conservancy is home to all the African ‘Big 5’ and if one is lucky enough they can all be spotted within a couple of game drives.
Morning and afternoon game drives will be done on the 5th day with an option of going on a night game drive on the 5th night, if you so desire. On the morning of the 6th day you may go out for an early morning game drive or opt to have a relaxed morning followed by check out at approximately 0900hrs.
Arrive back to Nairobi roughly at 1230hrs and directly onto your onward domestic flight to Diani Beach.

Day 6 – 8
Diani Beach
The last leg of your adventure takes you to the famous pearly white sands of Diani Beach. One of the Top 10 Beaches in Africa as voted by TripAdvisor.
If your body is still aching after climbing the peaks of Mt. Kenya then what better way to relax and recover than in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
The rest of the days are at your leisure. Trips or activities such as seen below can be arranged as per request.

Day 9
Nairobi
Check out of your hotel in Diani. A transfer vehicle will take you to the airstrip for your return flight back to Nairobi.
Upon arrival back to Nairobi you will check in to your hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure.
Sight seeing activities / attractions can be arranged upon request.

Day 10
Nairobi (JKIA)
Depending on your international flight departure you may have time to see more of Nairobi or alternatively be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport well in time for your return flight back home.
