Day 1
Nairobi

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a Safari & Fjell representative. Thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and rejuvenate.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you may desire to venture out and visit the nearby attractions.

Day 2 – 3
Climb Mt. Longonot
Lake Naivasha Boat Safari – The Forest
Day 2 Highlights
Mt. Longonot (2,780m)
Early breakfast / check out by 0700hrs & drive 60km Northwest of Nairobi approx (1 -1.5hrs) towards Mt.Longonot in the Great Rift Valley.
Start Mt. Longonot climb at the Main Gate (2,150m)
Option 1: Main Gate – Crater Rim (2,560m) – Main Gate, 2-3hrs walk, 6.2KM and 410m ascent. Lunch will be taken at the Lodge in Naivasha.
Option 2: Main Gate – Around Crater Rim/ Summit (2,780m) – Main Gate, 4-5hrs walk, 13.5KM & 630m ascent. Packed lunch taken at the top the mountain with panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley.
High chances of spotting and hiking alongside various forms of wildlife such as plains zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and hartebeests. Leopards have also been reported to be seen but are extremely rare to spot.
After the climb the rest of the afternoon is at your leisure in the Lodge along the shores of Lake Naivasha. Diner & overnight.
Day 3 Highlights
Lake Naivasha Boat Safari – Zip Lining The Forest
A more relaxed start to the day with a leisurely breakfast, thereafter you take a boat safari on Lake Naivasha to spot the resident Hippo population and various other forms of bird life.
Once your boat safari has ended your guide will drive you towards Kereita Forest approx 1-1.5 hours away. Here you will experience Africa with a totally different view! Awaiting you is adrenaline pumping zip lining that glides you across valleys in a matter of seconds. Lunch may be taken before or after the activities at The Forest restaurant over looking the beautiful green valleys.
For those not wishing to participate in the zip lining adventure then an alternative of mountain biking, archery or a guided nature walk will be offered instead.
After your active adventures at The Forest your guide will drive you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – 6
Masai Mara
Day 4 Highlights
Take an early breakfast and check out your Lodge at 0730 and start the journey to famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. The drive takes approximately 5 hours and you will heading southwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley until you reach the magical Masai Mara.
Arrive at the lodge / camp just in time for lunch. Thereafter you may take a short rest whilst soaking in the sights and sounds of the Masai Mara. Afternoon coffee / tea can be taken at the lounge. At 1600 you will venture out with your guide for your evening game drive searching for the famous ‘Big 5’. Return back to the lodge/ camp at approx 1830 to enjoy a steaming hot shower and some much needed rest.
Dinner & overnight.
Day 5 Highlights
Awaken to the serenity of the African bush and after having a filling breakfast you will leave the camp at approx 0830 with your guide for a full day game drive.
Today you will get to explore more of the game reserve than you did the previous day. Perhaps you’re lucky enough to see a lioness stalking its prey or some playful young elephant calves having a bath in the Mara River. Masai Mara has a reputation that almost never fails to deliver great game viewing due to its high concentration of wildlife.
Around noon your guide will find a shady spot under a tree within the endless savannas of the Masai Mara for a picnic lunch in the wild. Once you’ve had your picnic lunch it will be time to head back slowly to arrive back at your camp approx 1530. The rest of the day can be used to relax and unwind next to the swimming pool or enjoying a drink at the bar.

Day 6 Highlights
A more relaxed morning with the option of having a little more sleep and slightly later breakfast. For the adventurous a Hot Air Balloon safari over the Masai Mara plains can be organised (0500 – 1030) Pre-Booking is essential and at an added cost.
After breakfast check out and bid farewell to the beautiful Masai Mara. Exit the Game Reserve and drive back to Nairobi. For those wanting a quicker way back to Nairobi then a return flight from Masai Mara can be arranged upon request.
Check in to your hotel in Nairobi and the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 7
Nairobi
Depending on your international flight departure you may have the chance to explore more of the attractions in Nairobi.

Transfer to the Airport well in time for your return flight back home.
